South San ISD Board Places Superintendent on Paid Administrative Leave
Press Release - During the December 6th Special Meeting, the South San Antonio ISD Board of Trustees voted 7-0 to place Superintendent Dr. Marc Puig on paid administrative leave. Dr. Puig became Superintendent 18 months ago and is the seventh South San ISD superintendent since 2011. The District is unable to comment as to the reasons for the Board’s actions as all personnel matters are confidential, including those of the Superintendent. Any discussion in public from District Administration or Members of the Board is a violation of the law. The District encourages all teachers, staff and students to continue the district mission to “Think big, think positive, think forward!”. (7)
